Driveway cleaning · Queenstown & Wanaka

Driveway cleaning that doesn't wreck the surface.

Concrete, exposed aggregate and paver driveways across the Southern Lakes. Chemistry that lifts oil, lichen and weathering — without the high-pressure blasting that strips the cement paste and accelerates wear.

The driveways we work with

Every driveway has its own staining story.

  • Concrete driveways

Broom-finish and smooth concrete driveways. We use targeted chemistry to lift oil, lichen and weathering — low-pressure rinses preserve the surface for the long term.

  • Exposed aggregate

Aggregate driveways hold dirt in the micro-texture between stones. High-pressure blasting smooths the surface over time. Our chemistry-led method lifts the contamination without changing the texture.

  • Paver driveways

Concrete pavers, clay pavers and natural stone pavers each need different chemistry. We treat the pavers and the sand joints between them as a single system.

  • Gravel driveway aprons

The concrete apron where a gravel drive meets the road or garage takes the worst of the grit. We deep-clean and can also reseal to slow the next round.

  • Tyre marks & oil stains

Hot tyres on warm concrete leave marks; oil and hydraulic fluid leave stains. We carry the specific chemistry for each — neither comes out with water alone.

  • Moss & lichen

The green and black spotting on alpine driveways isn't surface dirt — it's a living colony with roots in the concrete. Killing the spore base is what stops it returning.

How we work

Slow when it matters, fast when it doesn’t.

  • 01

    On-site assessment

We come and look at the surface in person. Identify the substrate, test a small area, and work out what the surface actually needs.

  • 02

    Tailored method

Soft wash, steam, mild alkaline cleaner, biocide treatment, chosen for your surface, not from a one-size-fits-all playbook.

  • 03

    Careful application

Low-pressure equipment that won't damage the substrate. Plant protection. Spot-testing as we go.

  • 04

    Optional sealing

Once clean, a breathable sealer extends the result and protects against future moss, salt and water damage.
