Concrete sealing · Queenstown & Wanaka

Concrete sealing built for alpine UV and freeze-thaw.

Penetrating, breathable sealers for driveways, patios, exposed aggregate and pool surrounds — formulated for Central Otago conditions. NZ-made chemistry, applied by the same people who developed it.

Concrete we seal

Every slab has a different demand.

  • Driveways

Exposed aggregate and broom-finish driveways absorb tyre marks, oil and freeze-thaw damage if left unsealed. A penetrating sealer locks out moisture, makes oil spills wipeable, and slows the spalling that takes hold after a few alpine winters.

  • Patios, paths & alfresco

Outdoor concrete needs a breathable sealer that lets the slab dry between rain events without trapping moisture. Slip-rated options available for areas that get wet underfoot.

  • Exposed aggregate

Our Paving Protect penetrating sealer is engineered specifically for the pore structure of exposed aggregate. It doesn't yellow, doesn't film over the stone, and brings out the natural colour of the aggregate without making the surface slippery.

  • Pool surrounds

Concrete around pools needs a sealer that handles chlorine spray, repeated wetting, and slip-rating requirements. We choose products that protect without compromising grip.

  • Garage & workshop floors

Garage slabs benefit from a chemical-resistant seal that handles oil, fuel and tyre marks. Easier to clean, less staining, longer life from the slab.

  • Commercial slabs

Café terraces, retail entrances and forecourts. We work after-hours, the sealer cures fast enough to reopen the next day in most conditions, and our finishes hold up to alpine UV.

How we work

Slow when it matters, fast when it doesn’t.

  • 01

    Pre-seal assessment

We check the slab's age, condition and porosity. New concrete needs a full 28-day cure before sealing. Older slabs may need cleaning or crack treatment first.

  • 02

    Clean and prep

A clean, dry, profiled surface is what makes a seal hold. We do the prep properly — degrease, neutralise, dry — so the sealer bonds and lasts.

  • 03

    Penetrating application

Our Paving Protect goes on as a penetrating treatment, not a film. It soaks into the slab and bonds with the cement matrix, so it won't peel, flake or yellow.

  • 04

    Cure and protect

Foot traffic in 4-6 hours, vehicle traffic in 24-48 depending on temperature. We hand over with a simple maintenance note so the seal lasts its full 3-5 years.
