Efflorescence removal and seal at Millbrook

Drag the handle to compare
This project involved the professional removal of efflorescence buildup on a schist stone wall at Millbrook Resort. Over time, mineral deposits had surfaced, leaving white staining that detracted from the natural beauty of the stone. To restore the wall, we used RTS No.3 Efflorescence Remover, a specialized solution designed to break down and lift stubborn salt deposits without damaging the stone surface. After carefully applying and rinsing the treatment, the wall was thoroughly cleaned to ensure all residual efflorescence was eliminated. Once the surface was fully dry, we applied a high-performance stone sealer to protect against future moisture infiltration and efflorescence formation. This sealant enhances the stone’s natural color while providing long-lasting protection against water damage, staining, and environmental wear. The result is a clean, revitalized stone wall with a durable protective finish, ensuring long-term beauty and structural integrity.
